Design goals
I wanted to create a level layout that complimented my encounters and provided survivability for players. I knew what type of encounters I wanted but not the environment. I needed to create a place that felt believable; both aesthetically and structurally. In doing so, I was able to create unique and creative pieces.

I created this project to strengthen my skills in encounter design. "Wrathful Ruckus" was a combination of the lessons I learned from my previous projects. My main goal was to create an engaging experience that didn't frustrate players. This resulted in me running test sessions early and often. Some of the changes I made from player feedback included:
Making these changes made the overall experience better.

Getting the boss fight to the final stage took a lot of testing and balancing. Players tended to get frustrated and some didn't manage to beat Ernaline. This was due to similar issues with my encounter design. I talked with professors, fellow classmates and reflected myself to find solutions. After more testing and balancing, I made the following changes:
